This company has called me numerous times and wants to "confirm" my listing information. The implication is that I already list with them. The deception is two-fold:
1. They imply that this is a renewal of a pre-existing account - which it is not
2. Their name is ubiquitous - they are counting on your confusing it with the reputable local phone books.
When told directly that I DO NOT HAVE OR WANT a listing with them, they say that I accepted a "complimentary" listing and that this is just a renewal - no mention of charge.
Every time I have to firmly state that I do not want a listing. I have never been billed. I asked today to be removed from their calling list and got a snotty, sarcastic, and very disrespectful response.
Deceptive, deceptive, and slimy.
