BOND ADVERTISING BRAD RICE, ALTERNATIVE ADVERTISING JEREMY YAKSICH - DOOR TO DOOR SALES
BOND ADVERTISING, ALTERNATIVE ADVERTISING - DOOR TO DOOR SALES CULT 100% COMMISSION, NO TAX FORMS, 18 HR DAYS, DOOR TO DOOR SALES GTA, PICKERING, HAMILTON, PICKERING, GTA

Hi. I am a mom of someone who worked for one of these very lousy companies, and I am an attorney.

Let me set the record straight, as I have reviewed all the documents that you were given.

The definition of an independent contractor is that you work for more than one person, you have your own ID numbers and you bill out your services. None of this is what BOND, ALTERNATIVE ADVERTISING, JEREMY YAKSICH, BRAD RICE had anyone do.

Now... here is another test of being an independent vs being an employee... you can take this test, and then answer the question for yourself

Did they tell you what time to start?
Did they tell you what time to return?
Did they control all the monies?
Did they tell you what you were going to sell?
Did they tell you how to deal with charge customers?
Did they tell you when you could leave to go home?
Did they control the area that you would sell in?

If you answered yes to these questions, you are NOT an independent contractor.. you are an employee.
these people were savvy enough to know how to deal with phone calls, etc, but they stole your time, and you money, cause you were paying for their business expenses (phones, gas, car, etc)

If they are the owner of the business, the you need to go and file a complaint with the department of Industrial Relations, Labor Board, and present to them this list of questions previously asked.

They have you as an independent contractor that way they dont need to pay employee taxes, benefits, or any costs, you are covering your own costs, so this is all FREE money for them other than the office rent.

If you are out of Canada.. I'm not sure how it works, ... but all it should run in a similar fashion.. so check with your local rules and regs.

If you are sued, or if you go to court.. and it will be small claims court... you might win, but you need to explain to the judge, step one... you have not recieved a T4 or T4A& and sometimes people dont send one, so you are on your own with this... the judge might throw his court room, because it belongs elsewhere. I am sure these cases represent thousands of dollars... and attorneys wont take cases where there is no money to be had.

I recommend you file a police report for fraud in the city where you worked. that way when they start to see all these cases, they will see that the community is being damaged.

You need to take a little time for yourself. I yanked my son out of this job after 1 1/2 months. He would never tell me how bad things were, but I was on his every day about all of this.

I read the manuals, I read all the notices, and I knew something was wrong day one. the first interview... no interview last only 5 minutes!

Take any good stuff you got out of this job, and move on. My son was lucky to have me, cause the job market is tight, and he walked into a great marketing company that is paying him not only a salary, but is paying for gas, the promotion truck, this hotels, his meals, and gives full benefits... this is what a company SHOULD do..

You can file in court, but collecting the money is another animal... just cause you win does not mean you will get your money, and these guys know how to hide it.

Best wishes to you all... but do file a complaint with the local authorities.
