Ecause i have a reunion coming up, i joined classmates.com. we started noticing charges of $19.95 coming out of our checking account from a "at home rewards." i googled it and found a number from a report filed here. i called them -- said they were in canada (actually, called it 'good ole canada). said i 'clicked on a shell ad' in a classmates.com site and that 'gave them the right to start this debit!!! IN OTHER WORDS, CLASSMATES.COM GAVE THEM MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!! i will be canceling my classmates.com membership - AFTER I NOTIFY MY CLASS of this RIP OFF!!!
in addition, i had another charge (for four months) from 1-800-petmeds!!! THEY ALSO GAVE MY NUMBER TO SOMEONE FOR USING A $10 COUPON THEY SENT ME!!! i THOUGHT they were reputable. buying from my vet just got a hellava lot cheaper!!!
