Buyer beware!! The Buxton Bag advertised on TV and on the internet is not all it's cracked up to be.
It took over 30 mins to process my order over the phone with an automated system. I kept getting prompted to order additional items the merchandizing company was promoting. I got suckered into paying an additional $10 for the premium quality leather Buxton Bag.
When I received the purse, I could tell it was not high quality leather. It smelled like vinyl and like it had been in a warehouse for years. After leaving several voice mails with customer service, I finally spoke with a real person. I told the CSR that the leather quality was a joke and that I wanted my $10 refunded back to my credit card, which they processed.
I considered returning the purse, however, I would have to pay the shipping costs. I had already paid $8.95 for S&H, I wasn't about to pay that again and have nothing to show for it. I didn't want to risk not getting the credit, so I decided to keep the bag.
Within 2 months, the inside stitching came apart. The magnetic closure will soon be falling off. To this day, the purse still smells funny. The Buxton name has been around for years, so I assumed I would receive a good quality product. I am so disappointed.
