Award Notification-Final Notice
This "official" award notice was sent to a client of mine declaring that he was entitled to a lump sum payout of USD$65, 000.00 (Sixty Five Thousand U.S.) and was apart of 6 winners with a total cash drawing of $390, 000.00! After calling to investigate his "lottery claim" at the prescribed number below (780) 885-6842 we became increasingly suspicious when the lady was not willing to speak with him while on speaker phone. He was to "call her back at another time" to discuss how he was to receive his lump sum amount.
As a financial advisor I often see a good many official looking letters and believe me, this looked official and even had a small check attached with it. We found ot that another person had fallen prey to this scam at a credit union in cheyenne which confirmed our suspicions.
If you receive anything like this, DO NOT REPLY OR SEND ANY MONEY OR INFO TO THEM!
We have submitted thier scam to the FTC and other regulatory bodies for further investigation.
