Looked good, joined for live membershipe at a cost of $44. Then noticed that Lime Wire was the free version.
1st e-mail: I have contacted the LimeWire to upgrade to the newest version of 4.2.6 to 4 8. They informed me that i should have not been charged for their product unless it is Lime Pro purchase from their own web site. And that i have been scammed. I want my money refunded or i will take this matter further.
Reply: We did not sell you LimeWire. LimeWire is a free shareware program that we provide to our members as a tool to connect to the Gnutella File sharing
Network. We do not sell this software nor imply that we do.
If LimeWire support is making unsubstantiated claims then you will have to take it up with them. We allow access to the free version. They are the ones trying to sell something that is free for an additional profit.
The small membership fee is to cover our administration, operating and support costs. This is so that we can provide you with access to all the software you need to search, download, play and burn your favorite music,
while also being able to provide you with friendly, 7x24 technical support.
2nd E-mail: When I joined as a member I thought I was getting a pro version of Lime Wire which I could upgrade when necessary without any additional cost. I did not realise I have had the basic free version which I could have download myself from Lime Wire site. So for me to have the Pro version, I need to pay a further of $18.88 plus the $44.00 which I have paid to your company. To make me happy, can you get me the Pro version at no extra charge?
Reply: Unfortunatly we are unable to do that.
This site and others like it need to be closed down it is daylight robbery.
