Peter Wray of Eglinton Capital refused to refund the guaranteed price of an internet business. On April 28, 2004, I paid via PayPal a total of $1, 997 for what was described as "Profit Partners 2004" business package. I had found Eglinton Capital, Inc. and Peter Wray on eBay advertising web businesses for sale. I had multiple email contacts with Peter Wray prior to completing the transaction, and he even set up an MSN Messenger account, [email protected] in order to "handle all of the clients" communications.
When the "Profit Partners 2004" was set up for me, I was not happy with what was created and the type of products that Peter Wray claimed were "developed" for my business. I sent him an email on May 3, 2004 requesting a full refund via PayPal, under the "full guarantee" provision. The eBay listings, no longer available, clearly stated that there was a 100% money back guarantee. I had requested the refund within 1 week. I had requested the refund because I had lost confidence in what they were doing. Great sales pitch, but the material did not match the promotion.
Results of Google Search for Eglinton Capital:
HitPort and SpellKaster. I did not complete a Whois, but I did see that these 2 are registered to the same host.
