Small but none-the-less irritating:
Sears are currently running a promotion called "Cash in your points event' whereby they give a free $10 card to everyone who cashes in 5000 or more points IN STORE ONLY. Nothing is given to any phone, online or catalog customer. As an agoraphobic customer who lives in a small city in the north which only has a pickup/catalog store no one within 500 miles of me will be eligible for this offer. Also no one, anywhere, who is agoraphobic CAN redeem this offer. When I called neither of the two dimwitted, nasty people I talked with even thought this was a problem - certainly not something worth even the PR value of pretending to sympathize or be nice!
I plan to cash my points and spend them. That, hopefully, will be my last purchase from Sears.
