This company called my husband one day back in October and asked if he would like their services for advertising his company like on a directory sort of like yellow pages. My husband was told it was 40.00 dollars a month with a 6 month trial if he didn't like it he can cancel. My husband thought it might be good advertisment for his company. We heard nothing more from them until we got a bill at the a few weeks later. The bill was for the whole year up front of almost 500.00 dollars. We emailed them and told them them this was unacceptable and he did not want their services as they misreprented themselves. We don't even know if they even advertised him at all since we got no calls from this advertisment as we have him on another website that offers his services and all his calls came from the other site as we ask where they got his name from. About a week later from that email we get a representive calling us telling us we owe them money and so we proccede to tell them we do not want their services and she says okay no more mention of the bill. So as of today January 6, 2009 she calls telling us we owe them money and we explain once again we have already told them to cancel way back in October and that we talked to someone about it already. She procceds to argue it is a contract when we never signed anything on paper only verbally. Then tries to strong arm us with scare tactics to report us to the credit bureau if we didn't pay up. I am already fighting with these credit bureau boards for things on my records that either isn't ours or that have not been purged from twenty years ago. Well now I am pissed that they can think if a consumer does not want the services they feel we owe them for what services did they provide and also mis-representing the service details about payment. Don't be fooled by them into getting your buisness on line and they get slammed with a bill the first month out to be paid all up front. They do not tell you anything about where your site will be or when just a bill. Then they threaten to ruin your credit if you don't pay or want their services. I reported her to consumer affairs and will continue to report her to BBB and other places I can if they try and smear us. Don't use their services it is not worth the hassle. I have no clue how they got my husband's work number either. Just don't use these guys.
