I did not enter any sweepstakes and did not receive the letter & check until after the stated response date of 12-24-08. I do not enter sweepstakes or buy lottery tickets since I am living on Social Security benefits. It seemed too good to be true so I checked on Google and sure enough - it was too good. I turned the check and letter into the Chase Bank Fraud Department. The check is drawn on First United Bank of McKinney, TX and certainly looks legitimate. The payees name is SB HARBOR MARKET VILLAGE JV, 401 Adriatic Parkway, McKinney, TX 75070. This may be a real company who is going to be very surprised when they start having these checks for $3, 535.00 his their account.
