Overcharge of shipping, failure to deliver goods, failure to reply to custome

I ordered an item from zooscape.com in November. It was one item of loose tea, and the shipping they quoted me was just under $8.00 Canadian. I went ahead and placed the order online.

When I received my receipt from the company, I was surprised to find that they had charged me $28.39 American for shipping. I was shocked since I had placed the order in Canadian dollars and put in the Canadian shipping request as the website allows you. The shipping costs more than the item I ordered!!! They overcharged me around $23.00 after conversions for shipping.

I have phoned the companies supposed 24/7 customer care line 3 times and cannot get a representative, I just keep getting booted to their general voicemail box. I have left messages. I have also sent 4 emails to this company including all receipts and the page showing the lower shipping cost they quoted me. I have yet to receive any contact back from this company.

I have also failed to receive my item ordered and they do not give you any way to track if it has been sent or not. They just took my money. I will be calling my credit card company to cancel payment to zooscape for failure to ship goods or follow up with any resolution to the problems I have had with them. This company is definately out to scam the public.
