I purchased a computer from MDG in Jan 2006 for $2100.00 and paid the minimum payment of $61.00 for 33 months for a grand total paid of $2, 013.00 i wanted to pay the computer off so i called for the balance on my account. To my surprise i was told the balance still owing was $1800.00, the female employee explained to me that by paying the minimum payment i was charged a very high interest rate and that only $8.00 dollars from every payment was taken off the principle.
so i decided i had better get myself out of this mess and i would pay the balance with my credit card, what happen next really did me in, she then told me that i would have to pay more interest because i'm using a credit card she charged me an extra $62.00 dollars for using visa, THEY CLAIM 28% INTEREST i am not a math professor but even i know they ripped me off and should not get away with it anymore there are some poor souls that are going to fall into there trap.
So here it is my original purchase was $2100.00 after 33 months of paying $61.00 a month i still had to pay $1900.00 on a credit card that's charging me 19.5% interest. whats this computer going to cost me in the end? a lot more then it's worth...
