I have had the absolute worst service from Telus - and not matter how rationally and calmly I explain this to the Telus customer care, they just dont care. I have to hold for 20, 30, 40 min each time I call.

They disconnected my internet for no apparent reason, and then tried to tell me I should upgrade to business internet to ensure that I receive uninterupted service (and even then, it's not guaranteed, just more expensive). Then they tell me it will be reactivated, which it isnt, and I go back and forth with clueless service agents... in 3 days, I've spent 4 hours either on hold or reexplaining my situation to them.

They claim a manager will call me back, which s/he never does... argh.

They've charged my cel phone with long distance and roaming charges I never incurred. And then the agent tried to tell me that if someone from out of town calls me (while I'm still at home), I will incur roaming charges. It took 3 months for them to credit me the wrongful charges.

No wonder they need to force people into contracts. That's the only reason customers stick around as long as they do.

All in all, as someone who has been a Telus customer for 15 years, I am leaving. I am paying the cancellation fees. It's worth it to be rid of this horrible company.

Whatever you do, DO NOT GO WITH TELUS.
