I have been a pedestrain in a motor vehicle accident. I have experienced several months of pain and awkward lifestyle changes that have made me in capable in many areas of my life. I was Hit from a driver that speed through a handicapped zone and fled the scene. I was injured and had a bone contusion to my right knee and i have had hyperextension issues to my hip and knee. I have been on medications and have been suffering a great deal of financial loss. I was just going to go to a store to get some miscellaneous things when I was struck. I did not get the care and attention after the accident that I needed in order to possibly save my knee and hip from ongoing problems. I have been trying to live and my savings has depleted. Saskatchewan Government Insurance did after 3 months offer some help and then the Personal Injury representative went on holidays and said it would take time to get through my file. I have been financially unstable and mentally unstable as a result. I have not been getting proper care. I have been denied the help that I need and now after 9 months I have benn diagnosed with ostearthritis to the knee. It has caused a great deal of difficulty. Movement, work, Home and daily activity.
