My friend bought a ceramic fondue set at Rocky Chocolate Factory, it cost $20, and it cracked after the first use.
So we went back to Rocky to return/exchange it, and we were told:
"The fondue set came from China, the factory in China made them, we cannot do anything about it."
I was amazed. I couldn't quite believe what I'm hearing, so I asked:
" You are saying that you are not responsible for what you are selling? Are you sure?? "
Then the clerk was like" No, they came from China. We are only selling them. Why should we be responsible for it? "
I don't wanna read into it and make a big deal about racist or stuff like that, but
Isn't everything MADE in CHINA?!!!
The fondue set was sold with Rocky's damn LABEL on it, at Rocky's damn store. Otherwise, who the hell would buy that cheap quality fondue set at a rip off of $20?
It's not an big deal, but enough to discover the credibility of the company, and well establish a disgusting company image for me, so
SHAME ON YOU ROCKY CHOCOLATE FACTORY!!!
