Oakland Supply Ltd is a family owned and operated business ran by Roy and Brenda Champagne. Oakland Supply came to be April 7 1987 in Saskatoon. In the beginning, Oakland Supply Ltd was a partnership with 4 partners located on the corner of 51st Street & Miners Ave. The 4800 square foot building had a small workspace in the back with only a table saw, joiner, planer, radial arm saw and small tools and sold only mouldings, plywood, doors and hardware. As the business grew, an additional 1200 square feet were added and 5 employees were hired. Oakland believed strongly, and still do to this very day, in service, service, and more customer service that keeps their customers coming back again and again. In 2000 Oakland Supply Ltd bought a 9000 square foot building, our present location, at 2950 Millar Avenue. Renovations were made including a 3500 square foot balcony. Oakland now has 10 employees. We make custom furniture, kitchens and millwork in the shop. We also stain, lacquer and paint trims, furniture, doors, cabinets and pretty much anything else! Roy got his start in the wood working business with Beaver Lumber, where he worked at different locations throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan. In 1973 Roy married Brenda and they had 2 beautiful children, Rory and Andree. Rory is now the manager of Oakland Supply and you can find him in the store ready to help you with all your interior packages. In 2006, Roy and Brenda s first grand child was born, Phoenyx, to Andree and her husband BJ.
