Live Auction All Live Auctions will feature a preview period prior to live bidding. During this period, absentee bidding will be allowed on all items. At this time you will be able to submit a MAXIMUM BID amount, which will enable us to automatically bid for you when the need arises, up to your maximum. You can also submit an Opening Bid , which will be the price that bidding will start at on that item. The day before the Live Auction, preview bidding will end and the highest bidder along with their maximum will be recorded. The current highest bidder will be notified by email that they have the highest bid on that item, and that if their maximum is above their current high bid there will be a bidding floor representative assigned to bid for them, up to their maximum. Certain items in the auction will be open to simultaneous bidding on the internet as well as on location. These items are denoted by a in the auction item listing. After preview bidding has terminated, you may place a STARTING BID on any item for simultaneous online bidding. Bids placed during this time will not reflect your MAXIMUM BID , rather they will reflect your actual bid.
