Aug. 2003 I won an auction for a sony DSP-92 so I'm out like $500. After a few months of excuse emails I tried contacting ebay about filing for fraud but I was too late, not only that ebay never even got back to me, I've tried 3 times, still no response.
In Jan. I finally got a post dated cheque, being a little suspicious I took it to TD bank and asked if it would actually cash, they looked at digital mooses acount and said that not only did he have no money, he had stop orders on around 30 cheques... the stop orders were put in before the cheque was even mailed.
On one hand I'm happy i'm not the only one that has been screwed but on the other I know what you're all going through.
I email digital moose every few months but with no response i'm currently looking into legal action.
