This company contacted us to 'verify our listing' and then they sent us a bill for $399.99. They then proceeded to leave voicemails on our phone system trying to collect on the invoice!
When they called once again today, and I told them that they were scam artists and we would not be paying the bill, they said they're sending it to collections. I asked if they had a purchase order number from our company and he said "no, but we do have a tape recorded conversation with so & so authorizing this charge".
After repeated attempts to get it through the guy's thick scull that we'd NOT be paying this invoice, I had to hang up on him because it was turning into a shouting match.
Anyone with advise for what I should do if they do indeed take this to the next level and a collections agency starts calling?
