My Name is Jaouad, I have completed the Premier Security courses last winter. When I have seen their add in the employment news I was taken by what they offered; In big bold letters it said "Security guard training provided, We promise you a certificate and a job is guaranteed to those who successfully finish their Training". But little did i know that this was the beggining of a nightmare.
It's been a year that i have successfully finished with this acadamey, to this day i still haven't received neither my certificate nor the promised job. I contacted their offices on more then one occassion and asked to speak to their president; I was told he's in Toronto and can't help me out.
I called them again recently and asked them if my certificate is available; the Receptionist i spoke to (Tammy) said it was there and ready to be picked up; I took a taxi from my house to their office to only be told that my certificate wasn't ready and that their printer had indeed broken down.
I kindly asked her to speak to her (tammy) boss, she said yet again he's in toronto; and i was then greeted by Brad an employer of the company who told me that even if their was a working printer the president had to sign it and he's away in toronto. I sat down with brad and told him about this whole ordeal and he said to me "come back another day, maybe the president would be here and he'd have it signed". By this time i got really irritated especially when i was asked to leave or else they'll call SECURITY!
I left that day dissapointed and frustrated; I wrote the president a letter expressing my anger, as well as an email; the response i got back was a month ago and quiet frankly it was simple i was told "we can't do nothing a this moment". more angry then ever, i wrote to the better bussiness bureau expressing my frustration that after several emails and letters the company wasn't taking action or responsability. to this day today neither the Better Bussiness Bureau or myself have heard anything from this company.
I am led to believe that Premier Security is a name more than a service, and that they did do a good job at ripping me off and who knows how many more! i am really angry and all i'm looking for at this time is a refund of $275CAD that i had to pay out of my savings account to be only led to a dead end road.
Last but not least i hope that other consumers would really ask questions and seriously think of what they're getting into before accepting to deal with this kind of company.
