I ordered these flowers for my niece's birthday and they arrived absolutely dead. My brother called the deliverer but got yelled at, at which point he told me about the problem. I emailed the company and below is our email exchange - judge for yourself if this is an appropriate way to treat a customer. Please note how heavily the manager relies on "all the other" good reviews they have. There is a wide choice of companies out there - stay away from this one.

I ordered flowers through your website (details below). The recipient of the flowers told me that they arrived unfresh and died completely the next day. When we tried to contact the deliverer, they refused to speak to us and were rude about addressing the problem. I hope that you will address this problem with your distributor and refund my payment accordingly. I have used your company before and have been happy with it and was disappointed to learn about this situation.

Sorry we must be called within the First 48hrs as per Store and Web site policy if there is a Question of Quality so we can send back the flowers to the Growers for Inspection.
The recipient didn't call us untill Today Friday March the 6th?
We have the recorderd conversation of the caller being rude with a verbal attack and abuseing the operator and when they told them to bring back the flowers as this was now past the 48 hr time frame and we would replace them with New ones the caller said they threw the Flowers in the Garbage.
We are not here to be Abused and cannot tolerate this behavour.

I currently reside abroad and I ordered flowers for my niece's birthday. I do not think it's reasonable to expect the recipient of gifted flowers to call the deliverer within 48 hours or let the person who gifted the flower know. I understand that you are not there to be abused, but the recipient is not who bought the flowers and needs to be reimbursed. I am hoping you will reconsider your response; if not, I will join dozens of people on the internet who are already giving your business negative reviews.

Then you state that we should reimburse someone who didn't buy the flowers this makes no sense

Sir-
You misread what I wrote. I said, "The recipient is NOT who bought the flowers and needs to be reimbursed" - the following verb was also affected by the "not" - meaning, the recipient is also NOT who needs to be reimbursed.
Please let me know if this changes anything.
