My wife and I contacted Steve from an ad in the paper and he came to our home on May 10th, 2008. At the time we could not find anything online that would discredit him so we gave him a deposit for 50% of the work that was to be done.
He was scheduled to deliiver our hardwood on June 5th and install our hardwood on June 7th. When we did not hear from him or receive our wood on June 5th, we called numerous times to inquire about our wood. He eventually returned our call and told us that he had been sick and asked if he could do the work on June 15th.
When June 13th came and still no wood, we called numerous times again. Again he returned our call on June 14th we were told that his installers' wife was having a baby and he was enroute to the hospital. He told us he would reschedule for June 22nd and would have the wood delivered on June 20th.
When the wood did not arrive AGAIN we called a number of times and told him that we wanted the wood or our money back or we would take further action. He immediately returned our call and apologized that his driver had not dropped off our wood as he thought his driver had delivered it.
He said he would personally deliver the wood on June 26th and would work the Canada Day long weekend to do our floors.
At this point we still have not heard from Steve
We have now found numerous complaints from others who have also been ripped off by this farce of a company and want to make sure no one else gets ripped off by this JERK!
A fraud claim has been filed and we hope that this guy will be stopped and that justice will be served.
