Requested estimate from this company to supply and install a In Sink Garberator. Owner from Emberley's Plumbing & Heating came and said it would cost approx. $555.00 to supply and install. He also mentioned old unit was not installed right. Also mentioned not to buy unit from Home Depot because they are junk.
Next day his son came to install and I did not hear him knocking as I was only 20ft away watching TV.
The next morning son came back and brought the unit with him. Son had wrong unit so he went out for about an hour and brought the correct unit. I was charged for his time out. Was also charged for a unit that father said not to buy as it is junk. Home Depot sell identical unit for $55.00 less.
Unit was installed not as his father had said it needed be. Was given a bill for $799.96 almost $245.00 over estimate.
Called father that evening and said he would talk to his son and would call me back in the morning.
That was Oct 11, 2012 and he has never called back to this day which is the 29th of October.
I will never do business with these people again.
