When a sales person came to my house last year I was unaware what he was a sales rep from a private company and I did not differentiate from direct energy and enersource, I mistook him a person from the Hydro department, when he said he is from direct energy and I have to sign a contract if I need to get electricty at low price. The next day when I received call from the Direct energy to confirm my contract I denied saying I do not want.

I had spoken to a friend of mine about the contract and he said that is not from the government, and it is a private agency, so I denied the contract. But I had been billed through them and I did not notice untill recently when I received a huge bill of 176$ I called the enersource and they said that I am getting energy through Direct energy.

I had then noticed that there was a small increase in my bill in recent times and was due to the contract with Direct energy.

I then called the direct energy and spoke to the customer service, and the representative said that they will be sending me a audio recording of the conversation of the contract confirmation and will take 30 days.

I am sure that I said I do not want the contract to be enforced.

I have to get the refund for all the amount taken from me till date, and also the billing should be done through enersource.
