I live close by to this Zellers store and spend atleast $800 to 1000 every year on clothes, beddings, toys and electronics every years but I dread going to this particular store because of the extremely rude behaviour of some of thier employees. I now prefer going to the one on Dundas because they have excellent customer service but for this particular deal which was a buy one get one free for 3 days only, I tried to save time in travelling and went to this store and spent aroud $172. In the car I realised that I have been charged for an item which I had returned and the cashier forgot to void it. I have no complaint againt that cashier because it was closing time, I went back immediately and tried to inform them but they had closed and they told me to come back next day. At home when I checked I realised that on 3 items which were buy one get one I did not get the free deal also on one buy one get one there was big gap between the charged item and free one, the kettle which I bought was damaged and the ladies garment had a wrong size in it. When I went on Sunday, 23 may, I had to go to the cusotmer service. Hisd name was 'Darien' as written on his name tag. The person has been rude to me several times before and I had complained to Zeller about 2 years ago but they never took any action. I tried to explain the situation and he wouldnt let me talk, he snatched the bill from me and started marking in red that oh you got this this buy one get one, I told him not to confuse me because those items were not the matter and I told him that for this swimming suit I was not given another buy one item for free as the ad, he said oh this is because on tis brand there is no buy one, I was not sure and his attitude was so rude that I didnt want to stand there and be insulted, I agreed and told him that I wanted to return it. He was continously muttering usder his breath and refunded the items I enquired if it was all, he said 'look in the bill yourself' I will not answer your questions. I was polite all the time and another lady custumer service looked over my receipt and answered. I dont know if they will give witness to the extent of rudeness and insults and yes while so called attending to my complaint he took another person and made me wait to first service him even though I was foirst in line. I was in tears after this experience, and we then went to the other Zellers on Dundas Street west. I enquired regarding the swimming pool and was told that it was infact buy one get one and all the other items which I was refused by Darien were infact buy one get one. She was very courteous and helpful. I want to know that despite previous complaints why was this person not trained properly or questioned. Does Zeller care at all for customer satisfaction or they take us for granted??
