I am totally disgusted with this company. I had my house burn down along with my vehicle, so I buy another one while in Vancouver. I was attending a cemetery when someone broke in stole anything I had left. At the dealership they told me that Coast to Coast would cover me (peace of mind), so I purchased the ridiculously priced coverage. I had more bad luck with the vehicle while driving back to Edmonton with my three year old. The vehicle broke down several times forcing us to stay in a hotel and taking the vehicle into a dealership. The repair bill was lengthy and costly to which COAST to COAST said they had no part in. Coast to Coast helped with nothing at all.
Then I had my vehicle in early for it's oil change only to have the place say more repairs were needed... I wised up and phoned COAST TO COAST before taking vehicle in. They gave me a bunch of crap saying I have to see what the dealership says etc etc... blah, blah. I had to pay for all costs because virtually nothing was covered not even the diagnostics. Why wouldn't a part like a transfer case be covered or it's diagnostics, I mean the plan said it was.
So, I had to rent a vehicle for three days because I have 2 kids and a need to transport myself and kids; I was more than 300 kms when truck broke down (270kms one way), but they didn't mention it had to be one way to qualify for assistance. Plus I was thinking that what kind of company says, " you know when you are only 270kms from your residence you and your two kids and whatever luggage you have can walk wherever you need to go, because after all isn't that peace of mind? " Hog wash. This company has provided no coverage. This company is the worst company ever and I have had my house burn down so insurance hasn't been a dream, yet they are still worse!!! Unfortunately for them I will not be stopping with this one letter. I am instead focusing on letting the people know that this company is GARBAGE!!! It's product, it's services and employees stand behind screwing you over... they are lousy lousy!!..so if you buy coverage it is your own demise. BUYER beware!!!
