I am a former employee of GC&T. I know the ins and outs of this company.
First off, it is a scam. There is NO finance company, at least none that deals with US customers.
To get a sale many employees will do as follows: the asking price of the vehicle usually goes up about $1000, this is just a way to make the customer want to use our company.
Average sale is 10-14 days, I worked there for over a year, I have NEVER had a customer call and say they had sold their vehicle.
We do put the vehicle on our website, but I don't know of anyone that looks there to search for a vehicle.
You people paid for your vehicle to be posted on a website, there are no buyers, no finance company and no customer service.
James and many of the male employees there drink throughout the day, ending up in a bunch of perverted, loud, obnoxious drunks at the end of the day.
Most of the employees are stoned on pot (not a big deal), but there are the CRACK HEADS you've all heard about. James Steinhubl buys it out of the back alley, there is a girl that works there (lets just say she was married to Abraham) who has lost about 20lbs and looks like skin and bones... crack head.
All the girls there are rude, obnoxious, full of themselves and are in need of desperate psychological care.
Good luck getting thru your complaints to the office, you'll be put on hold and forgotten, that is what we are instructed to do. If you are a customer that has paid already, I have no reason to talk to you. Only when Credit card numbers are given are you important.
I'd like to ad that ALL credit card numbers are recorded and kept at the office. I hope you look forward to having all your cards scammed in the near future when everyone leaves the country with your money.
James Steinhubl is being charged with FRAUD, he has a shady background too. I can honestly say that he is the most shady, deceptive, self centred person I have ever encountered.
There is an investigation going into GC&T, and it IS possible for US customers to get their say. Google Phonebusters, just let them know you are complaining about GC&T and they will forward you to the appropriate people.
