On August 20 2012, I brought my car in to the Hunt Club Volkswagen dealer for repairs due to the car over heating when idling in traffic. When the work was completed, they called me to let me know it was ready. When I arrived at the dealer, they asked me to wait 5 minutes so that they can wash the car. They parked the car with the back side of the car facing me, and handed me the keys. The car was wet and I drove off heading back to work. As soon as the car was dry, I noticed that the windshield was cracked in the lower left corner. I returned to the dealer to show them the damage they did to my car. They said that they were not responsible for any damages done to the car and even if they were, It's my problem to deal with. My windshield was not cracked that morning. They also said because I drove off, they were not responsible for any damages done to the car in their care. With all the water on the windshield, you couldn't see the cracks, so it makes a good cover up for them. They told me that they could replace the windshield and would be charging me $ 645.00 TX, but due to the unfortunate situation, they would charge me $450. I refused the offer because they are the ones who broke the windshield not me, so they told me go away it's your problem not ours, so deal with it and leave us alone.
