I signed up for a "Competitors Promotion Rate". In short, you transfer your membership from a different gym (min. of 3 months) to Goodlife for 0$. You sign up for a year, but for the first 3 months you don't pay anything, because of your previous gym's membership. The membership consultant with whom I dealt with told me I could cancel my Goodlife membership just before the first 3 months ended for 0$ instead of 100$, because it was a "Competitors Promotion Rate". Well that employee got fired maybe 1 month after this. Just before my 3 months ended, I went to the Memberships boss, and he told me that that employee was fired for lying to clients to entice them to sign. So my pre-authorized payments started, and they said there was nothing they could do, despite me being lied to. They offered little to no help, and said I would be stuck paying 25$ every 2 weeks. They offered no compensation whatsoever. So much for the "good life"...
