I want to warn other people so this does not happen to them.
AIL Canada called me after reading my resume on monster.com so I went in and after the interview process they said I would need to take an insurance license exam.
They promised a minimum salary of $500 a week with potential for a lot more, that I only had to have a min of 20 appointments per week, that I would have an assigned area to work in within 45 minutes of where i live, and that I would need to get a car.
So I went through the process, it took at least a mmonth and a half to finish the exam process and get my insurance license.
I finally started working and found out that I had to go a lot farther away to work than they said, they assigned me to an area 3 hours away (one way).
Then I had my 20 appointments a week but they said that I did not sell enough to make the $500 for that week. Then they told me that we were payed by commission. That continued for a couple more weeks then I had enough and quit.
