Ripoff I was asked for a security deposit in the amount of 1000 dollars But after few follow-up no answer from them

I applied for a loan at Megacity services, and after complying with the requirements, Mr. Patrick Kondo, a financial consultant told me to send a security deposit of 1000 dollars. I did sent it through postal money order, and was told i will wait for 10 days for the processing.

After 10 days, i follow it up with him and he said, i will be contacted by Ms. Rachel Cameron when the loan will be release. Days past, i e-mailed her and she answered back saying the lender had back out and that they have to bring it to court. She said if i want they can look for another lender but it will take 30 days, so i decided i might as well get back my security deposit, she agreed but it will be after 10 days.

I followed it up again, and Ms. Cameron told me she sent a cheque already. But until now, that cheque has not arrive yet.

I try to call and e-mail them but to my dismay, no answer or response at all.
