I guess same as the ohers comments I have read, I was lured into buying art that would be reselled for a very healthy profit, after the second painting I bought (overpriced as I found out later) I realized it was all a scam and stop delivery of a third piece that was already on my way. a friend of mine was also dealing wiht them and we'd "compare" answers just to realize that it's all a script.
all this started back in late 2007, at the time my "consultant" was Neil Scharwtz, I gave him a call a couple of days ago and I was told that he no longer works for that gallery, this time I talked to Harold Sendel, which of course gave me some lip service about why the paintings hadn't sold and surprise, surprise, he try to sell me another, and I quote, "I am just trying to throw a bone at you by selling you a piece for cents on the dollar" yeah right!
I have file complaints with the BBB both on the states and Canada and haven't heard from either of them. there has to be a way to stop this guys and shut them down!
