I recieved a check and letter and was asked to western union them half the of the check

On January 22, 2009 I recieved a letter stating i had won a large amount of money from Zenith Financial and Trust. Enclosed was a check for the amount of $4, 875.00. The letter state i needed to call the tax agent listed and make arrangements to cash the check and western union them $2, 875.00. the letter also had a claim #BOD-3115. Just like every one else who has been scammed I thought I was Blessed.
