DCA has continued to contact me at my place of business. They contacted me on several occasions to pay off a loan owed to Cash Money for a pay day loan in a ridiculous amount which was double that of what I owed to the lender initially almost two years ago.
I advised DCA that I have hired a financial counsellor to deal with my finances and that my counsellor was in touch with Cash Money in 2006 to settle the account. I advised DCA to contact my financial counsellor directly to discuss repayment and that I was not going to entertain their threats of garnishment. I went on to advise them as they choose to ignore my request to contact my counsellor that i have filed a complaint to The Ministry of Consumer & Business Services, for which I have done.
I'm fortunate that my financial counsellor has provided me with information to protect myself from these types of snakes. I am now waiting to hear back from Ministry of Consumer & Business Services and what steps they will make to resolve my dispute against DCA.
