Sent me a check for 4, 875.00

I am writing this letter to let people know that I got a letter from a sweepstakes from North American Lottery, stating that I was a winner of 125, 000.00 and that they cut me a check for 4, 875.00. The check looks real, I took it to my cheif of police and called the bank that they were using for the account. The account was someone personal, like myself, and someone has gotten into their personal account, hoping that I would cash this check, and come to find out that I'm taking it away from people like myself. Please becareful before cashing any checks, make sure you call the banks that appear on the check before cashing like I did.
