I recieved a phone call today from 250-271-0131 and on, my caller ID it said that it was a cell phone and from BC. I had recieved a phone call from this number before and when I answered there was no one there. Well today there was an individual on the line and he told me that I had been selected to recieve a government grant of $6, 000, and this amount is non-taxable and he went on to explain to me what this grant had to be used on and what I would use it on. Then he told me that the only charge is a $298.00 processing fee and that this processing fee is tax deducible and I could have it withdrawn anytime from today to Jan. 16th. I asked him if there was any information that he could send me regarding the grant that I could look over or if there was a web-site that I could go to to look at information regarding this company. He gave me the website as www.governmentgrants.com.
I procceded to ask him for a number to call back on so that I can look over the info to see if I am interested. He said that they like to complete the whole process in this phone call and when I told him that I do not like to give my personal info out till after I have researched the business, he hung up on me and I have yet to hear from him.
