My name is roberto and I am a victim of fraud committed by Citibank, they issued a Citibank MasterCard for ten years on my name without me ever knowing it. I have been living in Canada for 27 years and for these 27 years I have never looked at my trans union credit report. I have been working for the same company for 27 years as a an engineer, I have never been on any unemployment, and I have always taken a good salary. In the last 10 years I have been denied credit not knowing why, I requested many times my Equifax report and everything was rate number one September, 12, 2004 I looked more closely at this credit report to find something disturbing and I saw that there was a Citibank MasterCard and it said it was closed by Citibank in 99 with a balance 4070 and that it balance was paid in full in 2001 rate number one.
Right away I called Citibank company and I asked who they are, and told them that I never had such a card and never had such a balance and I never paid anything.and she told me to call the next day September 13 to there customer service I spoke with Miss.salvadore and she told me that she knew that I never had any Citibank creditcard and that she would contact Equifax and transunion to remove it right away. After I spoke with her I went on the internet and looked at the transunion report never knowing or seeing it before when I saw it there was a Citibank MasterCard and it said that I had I Citibank MasterCard for 10 years rate number 9 derogatory account collection skip delinquent customer, immediately I contacted Citibank and transunion and right away they removed it and it disappeared from my credit report like it never existed. Now my credit report is perfect. After that I went to a lawyer and had him write a letter to Citibank, transunion and Equifax to inform them that I am going to take Citibank to criminal court for identity theft, fraudulent transactions and forged a non existing account. I read all your reports on the consumer complaints website and many of you too have been victims of Citibank's fraud and said that they would be glad to be part of any civil or criminal litigation against this crooks, I like you want Citibank to be punished and exposed so this criminals may be stopped from destroying peoples lives. So if you agree with me and you want this company to be punished then send me an email with what they did to you and I will present it too the criminal court with my charge so they will be exposed, and too make sure that they wont do it to anybody else. thank you if we help each other it is the only way we can stop them.
