There is a new Internet scam going on-line where people who post an article for sale on sites like Kijiji or Craigs List are being contacted by perspective buyers. They will claim that they are some type of professional who is out of town on a job and that the deal will go through by using Paypal. The scam comes in when they ask you to Western Union money to the shipping agent and that wire transfer information will enable the money for the purchase of your item plus the cost of the transfer to be released to you via your PayPal account once the shipping agent has been contacted. They will give you a bogus PayPal email which looks official but be warned that it is a fake and will be noticeable because it will be in your spam. These people really sound sincere and they will be unrelentless in pursuing you once you begin to exchange emails. Tell them that you are reporting them to the proper authorities (and please do) and then tell them to go ROT IN HELL.
