There has been a Security Breech done by Sears and their existing customers that have a Sears Card and/or a Sears Master card. I had a complaint regards to my $7, 200 Sears Card being deducted to $400.00 I had never late fees, always paid on time, a credit rating over 800, Bought many major appliciances, Tv, Stoves etc over 35 Years of being a member.
I emailed Sears and they sold their Sears card and Sears Mastercard to J.P Morgan Canada yes this is one of the banks that asked for a bail out in the States. I was never informed or told of this sell out by Sears until I received the email on December 22, 2009. Sears card is curently 28.8% and Seras master card is 19.99%. If you have a good credit score you have a lower credit card intrest rate probley, Use that card instead all you loose is your points, The card you would be using has a 25 day grace unlike J.P morgan its from day one. Save more using another card in intrest than you would in Sears points. The security breech is that your personal information was givin to another company in full disclosure with out my consent. This was a leak of information by one company to another. I will not shop at sears no longer because of Security breech performed by Sears Canada
